Joey Polisena sniffs books, magazines, and other paper things (there is brain-tickle in the fibers and ink). Of all the words pressed to her skin, her favorites are: Mom, Poet, and Friend. This former journalist embraced opportunities and developed into an IT instructional designer, guiding corporate colleagues to new technologies. Joey self-published two poetry collections, “All Shards & Paste” (2019) and “Happy Place” (2024) and has published pieces in several magazines and anthologies.
