You may notice some changes around here and that’s because I’m making them. 😉 I have been busy this year, not just writing more poetry but seeing where poetry can go. Part of that exploration has been learning sublimation and vinyl crafting to create poetry-inspired keepsakes and artwork.
So, yes, coming soon is a new on-site shop. Currently, I offer a few designs through Spreadshop, which has been a great experience. The setup was easy and I learned a lot about products, design placement, and pricing. For me, this POD (print-on-demand) shop is just the beginning, however. I like to make stuff, which is why I set out to learn and invest in sublimation and vinyl crafting. I have been making beautiful things for friends and I can’t wait to make them for everyone.
I am still creating my kick-off designs and building inventory as I enhance and secure the website to protect our information and transactions. Do expect a new shop in first half of 2023.
Currently, you can still buy All Shards & Paste on Amazon, but I am working on finalizing the audiobook and getting the print version on to other platforms. It seems a little late in the game, but I’m learning all of those processes, too, in preparation for my next book of poetry in 2023!
I am about 75% ready to go, but still a lot left to do. I want to release the print and audio versions at the same time, so I’m hoping to have everything ready by mid-year.
I did remove a lot of my poetry from this site. In 2023, I am going to republish the pages refocused on the multimedia presentation of the work. I will build and republish the poetry pages as time permits over the next year. You can check out my YouTube channel for my current reads of my work and OPP (other people’s poetry).
I do expect to make a lot of changes there, too, in addition to how I interact with my social media pages over the course of the year, as well. I tend to introvert a lot and the pandemic made me too comfortable with solitude, but the pandemic is over and my inner-artist is ready to interact again. 🙂 Please drop by one of my socials (they are linked in the upper-right corner of the page) for updates where you are.
Thanks for bringing your light by!
xo,
Joey
