I have stage fright. The recording of just audio files was a huge step for me, and, now, about a year or more into that practice, I have attempted to add some facial expressions. 🙂  I took the next shimmy in this performance process and practiced on video, which I’m providing in this post. Now, I recorded about 20 copies each of three different poems. I know I have a long way to go, but here’s me facing some fear. The knowledge that a ton of strangers and people I know are going to see these makes me anxious. Palm-sweating, racing-heart anxiety.

Why intentionally make myself uncomfortable? I need feedback. I need to know how I get better at this, anxiety be damned! I do hope it amuses you, that you enjoy the visual and audio of me with my words, but I really need some performance tips and pointers.

I do know that the lighting is bad. I was practicing one late night while I was home alone, dressed up in my pink wig and fancy clothes, just goofing off. Yeah, I do that.

Thank you!
